Lost and Found: The Names

The Names are a band from Brussels, Belgium. After their formation in 1978, The Names quickly gained popularity and a loyal following after being signed by to none other than Factory Records. I believe this band to be criminally underexposed to the current generation of kids getting into this type of music. Any fan of Joy Division or that late-70’s post punk sound that Manchester was famous for will take a liking to The Names. That being said, The Names are one of the best bands to come from the post-punk era.

Good album to start with: Swimming
